CMP Pump Seals
CMP pump seals are used in pumps manufactured by Custom Molded Products and help prevent water from leaking along the motor shaft. These seals create a watertight barrier between the rotating pump shaft and the pump wet end.
When the seal surface wears or becomes damaged, water may begin leaking where the pump meets the motor. Replacing the mechanical seal is often the correct repair before damage occurs to the motor bearings.
