Renu Water Manifold Kits Old to New
RENU manifold kits are a conversion system designed to upgrade older slip style spa manifolds to the modern barb style plumbing system.
Older hot tubs commonly used slip style manifolds where flexible pipe was glued directly into the manifold ports. Over time the flex pipe can shrink slightly or become brittle, making it difficult to create a reliable glue joint during repairs.
When these manifolds are replaced using the original slip style plumbing system they often develop small drip leaksaround the glue connections.
RENU kits solve this problem by converting the plumbing to barbed fittings with vinyl tubing and clamps. This system creates a more secure connection and makes future repairs easier.
The RENU manifold system is especially useful when repairing freeze damaged spa plumbing where the original manifold has cracked and the surrounding plumbing needs to be reconnected.
