Watkins vendor code 3536 pump parts are used with certain Intertek-style spa pumps installed in HotSpring and Caldera hot tubs. These pumps rely on internal impellers and wet end components to create water flow through the spa plumbing and hydrotherapy jets.
If your spa pump motor runs but water flow is weak or nonexistent, the impeller inside the pump may be worn or damaged. Replacing the correct Intertek pump impeller or internal components can restore spa circulation and jet pressure.
Common symptoms that indicate a failing impeller include:
spa pump motor runs but no water flow
hot tub pump hums but no water movement
spa pump running but not pumping
stripped or damaged spa pump impeller
In many cases replacing the impeller inside the wet end solves the problem without replacing the entire spa pump.
