Water Manifold Barbed Style Repair Kits

Barbed style spa manifolds are the modern plumbing system used in many hot tubs today. These manifolds distribute water from the spa pump to each jet using clear vinyl tubing attached over barbed fittings and secured with clamps.

This system is generally easier to install and much less likely to leak compared to older slip style manifolds where flexible PVC pipe is glued directly into the manifold ports.

Barb style plumbing systems are commonly used when repairing freeze damage or replacing cracked manifolds in older spas.

One of the most common causes of manifold failure is freezing weather. When water trapped inside the plumbing system freezes it expands and can crack the manifold housing or jet plumbing lines.

Every winter thousands of hot tubs develop leaks because manifolds are one of the first plumbing components to break during freeze damage.

Our barb style manifold repair kits are designed to replace damaged manifolds quickly and easily. Kits are typically selected based on the number of barbed outlets needed for the spa jet plumbing system.

Many kits include:

• Manifold base
• Barb fittings
• Hose clamps
• Vinyl tubing connectors
• Extension couplers
• Optional glue kits

Extension connectors are important because when damaged tubing is cut away during repair the remaining tubing is often too short to reconnect.

If you need help identifying your manifold repair kit you can send photos and we will help identify the correct replacement.
